Our Story
The Bee Raft was created to solve a problem we noticed in our own backyard. Bees need water – just like any other living creature – but birdbaths, fountains, ponds, and garden water sources can be deadly when there’s nowhere safe to land. Without a solid surface to grip, bees slip into the water, exhaust themselves trying to climb out, and drown.
It’s a small tragedy that happens thousands of times every spring and summer, in backyards everywhere. And it’s completely preventable.
